I am qu'tul, son of be'thal of the house cheng. From: Arrivals - The Crew[1]

The Bounty Experience

A young engineer, raised on Mars by House of cheng, qu'tul joined the Bounty under the search for real adventure and challenge. He is tired of the old and broken leadership of defeated Klingons who in his case seem almost cowardly for avoiding the confrontation with their enemy - the soulless Borg.

As the Ops engineer he hoped to earn his name and fame, contribute to the house of his mother, the house that has raised him and in whose yard he has learned anything and everything about the Klingon shipbuilding craft.

His first encounter onboard is with two other Klingons, one of which challenges him and after hearing of the patronage qu'tul recieved by Ta'pez he instead vows a blood oath. qa'tar does not stay long on Bounty, his fathers quest taking him away, however after his departure qu'tul is certain he would see his bloodbrother once more.

During the maiden mission difference arise with the man in command of the, qu'tul contemplates removing the Commander because of his dishonorable nature but fortunately for him, the captain dies, and the Bounty is assigned a Captain Toby Nutley with whom qu'tul strikes up an unlikely friendship.

The two warriors, one crazy another Klingon, take the Bounty to Alpha Centauri.

Return Home

After several missions HoD Nutley and his crew headed to Qo'noS in search of a relic said to lead the way to the holy grail, believing this to be a nice easy mission after the crews encounter with Iris the Bounty heads straight in to orbit. Qu'tul ambivalence towards the return to the home planet of his people is justified.

As weapons fire erupts from the surface striking the ship the Bounty's science officer scan's the planet's population. Every race known to the Federation is on that planet - including the Borg.

Qu'tul does not share his experience to the House Elder poQ, after his retun much to the house lords displeasure.

The Ozy

The visit to Qo'nos leaves qu'tul changed. He returns to Earth and requests a resignment. The Federation in need qualified engineers and the right political connections assigns Qu'tul to a new ship, a new class and a new set of headaches.
