The 5th SFS Ghost Riders are a squadron assigned to USS Ark Royal as one of the squadrons aboard Starfleet's first true carrier vessel.

They fly the Valkyrie-class multirole fighter, and are commanded by Commander Rupert Patterson.

The former Squadron CO was Major Anna Polaris.
