:That does sound better, but as with the starship list, whilst it's immediately more informative, every time a new one is created is has to be added manually, alphabetically, under the right section with a link to the article which of course requires not only that the editor can be bothered, but also that they remember. I think cats are a much better solution when it comes to lists (provided people other than I add them once in a while with their articles, of course).

::Well, I thoroughly ransacked the text from modern-day medals. Some of which do have very short circumstances of awarding, and some aspects I had to throw out of the window entirely instead of adapt and Trekise. But perhaps a one-sentence brief sum-up of what each medal is might make the page more valuable. And I ''try'' to remember categories... though it usually takes five minutes later and an "Ooops" these days. --[[User:Oook|Oook]] 12:19, 4 April 2006 (EDT)

Not sure about deleting it. It's covered in the Awards category, but then, that just lists everything alphabetically. Here was have a somewhat more concise (somewhat, not hugely, I admit) setup of the awards with a clear listing based on type and importance of the medal. Rather than just these alphabetical lists we seem to be growing so very fond of.

Though this page could probably do with some further defining of the areas and types of medals, yeah. Then it'd be worth more than just an alphabetical list.--Oook 12:03, 4 April 2006 (EDT)

Well, I thoroughly ransacked the text from modern-day medals.
