The 5th SFS Ghost Riders are a squadron assigned to the Excalibur Carrier Group where their squadron commanding officer Major Anna Polaris serves as the carrier groups CAG. Prior to their assignment to Excalibur the squadron had been assigned to the Earth Defense Force and had been patrolling Sol and other Federation interests close by.
They most often fly the Valkyrie-class multirole fighter.
