- "Well, that's an improvement. Computer, program the EMH to speak with a Swedish accent and designate itself Helga."
- — Catherine Vincent DeMarceau, moments before the first activation of "Helga".
Helga was a EMH Mark I that was originally activated (and later modified by Catherine Vincent DeMarceau) on the USS Stargazer shortly before the ship's destruction at the Battle of Sol.
To date, he has been used several times following his initial activation to assist Vincent with the replacement of QaDghab's voice box. These times include the final moments of the Battle of Sol before Admiral Cash's departure of the vessel and boarding of the Dissension.
Notes
- "Helga" was the moniker that was given to the EMH by Vincent along with whimsical move of granting the EMH a Swedish accent.
Behind the Scenes
- The character was inspired by a quote by Matthew Elias from "The Falcon Banner"
