With a newly minted Commanding Officer, Captain [[Bob Martens]], taking the reigns, the Excalibur has been tasked with re-exploring the area near the former Tholian and Gorn borders to assess the damage done to the area along with hopefully make contact with survivors who have been waiting for any sign of life from Sol for years.
