The SS Bounty was a B'rel class Bird of Prey in use by the Federation in the early 25th century.
Placed on loan to Starfleet for a special project by a dominant yet nameless Klingon house for uncertain reasons. At first glance, no house stood to gain anything from the Qun mughwI' project. It is possible there is something going on that Starfleet isn't aware of.
