BACKGROUND
Seamus was born on Celticia in 2362. His father was a chef working for local high class restaurant. His mother a school teacher. The O’Malley family lived on a three acre piece of property on the Northern continent at the time. Seamus grew up riding horses and camping under the stars with his friends. As he grew up, he wanted less and less to follow in his father’s footsteps and more and more to follow in his grandfathers. He wanted to be a Marine. At the age of 17, he accomplished this goal after enlisting in the Federation Marine Corps. From then on, he spent the next 16 years as a Marine, receiving a battlefield promotion to Second Lieutenant along the way. In 2395, he switched to Starfleet’s premier counter-terrorism and covert operations unit, DEVGRU. His commission switched to Ensign and he would serve in the naval branch from then on. He was seriously injured in the Battle of Sol and was forced to take two years of medical leave. At his return, he was no longer SPECOPS capable according to Starfleet and was instead transferred to Starfleet Security & Tactical and placed as a Chief of Security aboard the USS Devonshire. When the Devonshire was retired in 2404, he was transferred to the USS Defiant B.
Celticia was unfortunately destroyed in 2391. Seamus’ entire family resided there at the time with the exception of a third cousin living on Earth.
