Tellar Prime (or Tellar) is a class M world and inhabited by the Tellarite species.

Tellar Prime eco system was damaged from a Borg attack, however in the past six years the Tellarites have been able to find a way to reverse its effects. They are now working with scientists on Earth to do the same with Earth's eco system.With the ecosystem repairing itself the planet still remains in dire straights.Unable to grow enough food to feed it's entire population It relies heavily on assistance from the already resource starved federation.
