Romulus is the homeworld of the Romulans and the capital world of the Romulan Star Empire. The planet is class M and a majority of the planet was evacuated in 2387 as the Borg invaded Romulan space. As of yet no deep space exploration team has been sent to discover the ultimate fate of the Romulan empire. If reports are to be believed....there is the possibility of a borg presence still in the area.
