The USS Kyoto was an unfinished New Orleans Class vessel that is part of the small collection of Isolinear based ships that comprise a boneyard in orbit of Jupiter. 5 other vessels of the class acompany the Kyoto along with smaller civilian and Starfleet ships.
In 2406, Lieutenant M'rissi T'arren of the USS Phoenix illegaly pillaged the unfinished hull of the Kyoto to obtain parts to repair her ship. Earth Defense intercepted her, but she was able to return to the Phoenix. She was later reprimanded by Captain S'rravl T'ssarra.
