Axanar is a class M planet bordering on to class K. It is just over twenty light years away from Tellar.
Status in 2405
Axanar took heavy damage from a Borg planetary bombardment it received during the initial stages of the war. With help from the Tellarites the Axanar have been able to install a makeshift planetary shield grid to help in their defense. Starfleet is also preparing to send at task force of four older ships to help in relief efforts and defense of the mostly unprotected planet.
