Futility's End Mapping Project

So you're all astronauts on some sort of... star trek? This is a page written with an Out of Character Perspective. This means that it is not for direct use in character within Futility's End. Pages with this template are often design to inform members of Futility's End of something they should know outside of the game.

By 2011, it became obvious that the expanded nature of Futility's End had moved the affiliate beyond Earth and its nearby solar systems. For years, there had been no large scale mapping done that was made for public viewing. Many simm CO's had made small maps to keep themselves "on-track" so to speak, but it had become obvious that there was just so much information written about Futility's End that it needed a large dynamic map to better inform newer players and even current ones of the status of the Federation and the Universe.

As such, a project was started to bring this universe to life in a two-dimensional form that was easy to read. It was hoped that it could inspire new stories to be told while showing the efforts of every member of Futility's End in creating something special.
