As of 2404 all contact with Talos IV is still forbidden by Starfleet due to the addictive qualities of the illusion technology and the ease at which the native inhabitance can manipulate outsiders.Fleet captain Christopher Pike returned to the planet in the early 2260's after being disabled in a accident so he could live out his days in peace and comfort.
