I'll do a hunt. In addition, if Starfighter Command are entirely separate from Starfleet in the same way that FMI now are, he should probably be more than a Marshall (VAdm), and probably a Chief Marshall (Adm) or Fleet Marshall (FAdm). I'd created SFC under the assumption that they were under the wing of Starfleet in the same way that Marines were. Then Marines stopped existing. I should begin working up on some more details in SFC if they're their own independent unit - more of a chain of command, more squadrons (probably), and their own training ground.

SFC Was always meant to be a smaller self sufficiant part of the Federation military, I think after two years its proved itself enough for Castor to get his fleetadmiraliness.

Unless a squadron goes to a starship they're in Castors Command, if they're aboard a starship they report through Starfleet until they're reassigned on their own.
