Katherine remebers little about her eairly childhood, only that she was moved from ship to ship as the borg threatend the many settlements and collonies in the alfa quadrant. Somewhere in being passed around she was seperated from her mother and father rumor has it the ship they had boarded had been intercepted by a borg cude on its way toward the romulan home world. The truth has yet to be known. The folks on the ship took the girl in teaching her the basics of ship life, some engineering, some tactical, but where she really found her nitch was cooking for the men and women of the ship. Years passed and she continued to drift from place to place never really able to settle down due to her past.
