A century of relative peace when compared to those before it. Although coming at the heavy cost of a massive borg conflict the scrubbed most life from the galaxy. The 25th century is seen by most as a "make it or break it" period in galactic history. With many fragile societies on the verge of collapse due either to resource starvation or internal conflicts that threaten to tear what remains of the galaxy apart.
