L'arri is freaking nuts. Well... not physically, but she is exceptionally gifted with Engineering skill and determination that may seem like madness to some. Her father taught her and her siblings everything he knew from his career of being an Engineer and she took to it.

L'arrn joined up with Starfleet's FMI shortly after its formation and after basic training, she went onto specialty classes for the Officer Training Program. She excelled in explosive design and improvised construction. Upon being in the field for her qualifying work, she found while the enviroment catered to her desire to build explosives designed to turn large things into little things, the rank structure did not agree with her.

After getting into a few fairly public and serious arguments with officers and superior training NCOs, L'arri resigned and went looking for another way to put her fairly crazy passion to use in making a living.

L'arri has a very military type of personality to her, but for people that she sllows to get close enough, this personality is just a cover.

Still, she does get a severely disturbing amount of pleasure in breaking things down to their base elements through a carefully controlled explosion that she has created. Her skills at improvising and improving weapons through unique methods rivel any Starfleet Engineer's ability to perform miracles in the engine room. It is because of her adaptability and pure joy for her line of work that she is somebody you would love to have on your side.
