Summary
Starfleet is the exploratory, scientific, and military department of the United Federation of Planets. Currently the fleet is divided into two entities. The Earth Defence Force (EDF) is tasked with protection of all those that now call Sol home and the Starfleet Re-Exploratory Initiative (SRI) has the charge of re-exploring the Alpha and Beta quadrants.
