Samantha Jones, a bubbly vivatious blonde is assigned to Fleet Admiral Picard as his aide. The pair have been working together for over 4 years.

She only ever refers to Picard as Admiral or Fleet Admiral Picard, unless she's flustered in which case she may call him by his full name Jean-Luc Picard.
