Bryan Agustus Cash was the Commanding Officer of the USS Cairo-A in the late 24th century and went on to serve aboard deep space seven and the USS Horizon before eventually coming to form a home on Omicron Theta around 2405.
History
Bryan Cash was born in a large terran prison camp in the year 2225. His parents were state-dissidents serving time for opposing the Emperor. When he was eight years old, his parents were eventually executed for attempted escape, leaving Bryan was devastated. After floating around the orphanage system for a few years, a living relative was never found.
Bryan was assigned to the Empire's Fleet Academy Prep System (EFAPS).He quickly acclimated to the Starfleet lifestyle and was soon assigned a place in the prestigious Officers' Candidate School. Bryan was appointed team leader to his group's officer candidates and lead them to victory in the Academy's Kobayashi Maru combat simulation.
Bryan is a rather uptight fellow;with a tendency towards horrible violence his preferred method of command is to be both strict and ruthless, and he wishes to receive respect and obedience at all times. Bryan has several academic interests such as ancient earth military history and weapons design. He graduated 1st in his class of 200. His first post was aboard the USS strike eagle as a Relief tactical Officer, where he served until he was promoted to Lieutenant and reassigned to the USS Bounty as Primary tactical Officer, where he remained for five years.
Upon the end of the bounty's five year mission, Bryan was reassigned to the San Francisco ship Yards as a Junior Designer in the Tactical Systems Division, where he was assigned to the design team for the ship that would shape his ultimate destiny: The USS Vengeance Star. Bryan started as a Tactical Systems Integrator but quickly moved up through a series of assassinations and bribes until he was Lead Construction Overseer and promoted to Commander. Bryan oversaw the introduction of several key designs and systems into the Vengeance Star and was very heavily involved in her construction, as well. After the Vengeance Star's sister ship, the USS Intimidator, was destroyed in a tragic accident on her maiden voyage, the whole Dreadnought Project was going to be scrapped, but Bryan pushed for the project to continue and swore that he could make the remaining prototype work— and work well. Starfleet Command and the emperor were impressed by his passionate speech, and gave command of the Vengeance Star to Bryan along with a promotion to Captain three years later at the Vengeance Star's launching ceremony.
Bryan served for more than twenty years aboard the Vengeance Star and was eventually promoted to Fleet Captain and assigned to Starfleet Command at emperor tiberius command. Bryan served at Command Headquarters with distinction until he learned of the impending decommission of his old command, the Vengeance Star. Bryan hatched a plot with several other former officers of the Vengeance Star and stole the aging ship from its birthplace at San Fransisco ship Yards. this would prove to be a faithful decision.forces from a combined cardassian klingon bajoran force invaded the sol system and in a suprise move decimated the earth and starfleet.the move was only possible because of star fleet's incredible ego and lack of adequate defences around sol.
The Vengeance star and emperor tiberius' flagship the enterprise fled together from san fran shipyards and were fugitives from the alliance forces for many years.Both men ultimately regained there youth through the brutal experiments conducted on the baku people and a serum distilled from the baku's plasma.enterprise and Vengeance Star cruised the galaxy raiding unsuspecting civilizations and ships until eventually they discovered a device.....that would change there futures forever.A device called the Guardian of forever'alt.An ancient portal capable of transporting people and equipment to distant times.....and realties.Now Bryan agustus cash and his command crew disguised as there duplicates from this universe conduct covert operations and recon while preparing for an eventual invasion through the looking glass. Eventually bryan found himself very troubled by his past and his mission in the alternate universe.Fate played him a wild card when he attended the fourth annual Bravo fleet betleH tournament when he met the woman that would change his life forever.A petty officer med tech visiting the tournament with some friends.She and bryan had a special connection almost from the start.Circumstances forced bryan to leave his new found love behind.Months of torture at the hands of his former mentor and ally Tiberius followed and eventually he was released without reason and he made his way back to his love.They lived a long full life together eventually conceiving a child together Bryan Davies.The life they had was pleasant and good....... until the start of the borg war.
