Caitian Defense Force

Incorporated in 2408 after a successful Coup of the Caitian government by new Chancellor Aa'reth T'arren, the Caitian Defense Force (CDF) was formerly the Crimson Claws pirate organization. It consisted of all Caitians who were contracted by the previous government to act as the military.
The CDF uses the ranks of the former organization as well as the ships and facilities. Both have undergone refits and markings updates since the incorporation.
The CDF is a conventional military with two specific branches. The Cait System Guard is just what the name implies. They are tasked with system defense and traffic control of all incoming and outgoing vessels. The Expeditionary Fleet is tasked with all other matters including inter-system travel, and transportation of Chancellor T'arren if necessary.
A strict level of military dicipline, conventional pay grades, and technical training are all components of the new military. As Cait is in similar straits as other worlds in the former Federation, day to day life can be challenging. However, the fleet stands ready to defend Cait.
