Fort Apache or ""Apache-Anchorage"" as Captain Cash calls it was discovered near the start of his journeys in space over 11 years ago. Abandoned years before the Borg war by Orion pirates the Anchorage sits hidden inside a dense cloud of stellar gasses surrounded by a huge asteroid field. The Anchorage is carved into an asteroid several hundred kilometers wide and is capable of holding in it's interior a ship the size of a federation sovereign class. The technology that makes up the installation is dated and cobbled together from multiple sources but was in good enough condition that the young Cash was able to get the installation up and running by himself after several weeks.
In 2411, the Adventure brought the body of Bryan Davies to the station in order to use an advanced piece of temporal technology to recover his consciousness from the past. The station was in tact and well preserved. A sweep of the station revealed that it had been sitting undisturbed since last accessed. Bryan Davies recovered from the experience and the Anchorage was left once more.
