Physical Characteristics
Ka’Tara is tall and very muscular with hair reaching to her waist, she normally wears her hair up in an intricate braid so it is not as noticable how long it is. She has a light complection and is good looking (for a Klingon) with very prominent ridges.
For a Klingon she is lightly scared, she has a long one reaching from her stomach to the top of her right thigh from a hunting accident. She also has one going across her throat from a fight where someone tried to kill her, other than that there are a few minor scars from training sessions and her lovers.
Personality Profile
Ka’Tara can be a bit cold and stand offish to start with but once she gets to know people she is quiet freindly, she does not easily lose her temper which is a good thing. She has a good sence of humor and does not easily take offence, the worst thing to do is insult her family as this will cause her to attack you.
She has been known to play practical jokes on her fellow officers, this has gotten her into minor trouble before but nothing serious. When she is on duty she follows orders mostly without question, because of this she has been accused of having a poor attitude towards officers.
She is loyal to the ship she is serving on then her Captain and fellow crew, her respect has to be earnt it is not something she gives automatically. She always uses a senior officers rank unless told other wise, and will only argue a point if she thinks she is right.

A good drink, good food even if she has to cook it herself, reading old Earth litrature, training and keeping fit.

Background
Ka’Tara was brought up on Qo’noS on her uncles farm and brewery until she was 13, she then traveled to Earth to be with her mother. She stated she would return to Qo’noS to complete her right of assention at the age of 23 unless duty to a ship made that impossible.
She never made it back, the House and all they owned were wiped out during one of many battles with the Borg.
Whilst on Qo’noS her cousins taught her how to fight and hunt, tamyoH taught her how to use a set of throwing knives and also made her a set that like her own could be carried without being seen. They were sent to her as a gift when she was given her first assignment, she still carries them now, as well as her Daqtagh bearing the nagh House crest.
Her father was killed in battle when she was five her mother still lives and is currently serving aboard the USS Halifax as the CMO, Ka’Tara learnt much from her mother before she joined Starfleets enlisted ranks at the age of 18.
