Appearance: Mike stands 5'11" in his bare feet. He is solidly built and looks like one not to be messed with. His eyes are blue and have a penetrating quality to them. He has a scar running down the right side of his face, just in front of his ear from his hairline to his jaw. A going away present from a Borg drone, his brother.

Personality: Determined and hard charging. Loyal to a fault. He would gladly give his life for any member of his team and for the Federation. Off duty his is easy going and relaxed. On duty he is all business. He gives no quarter and expects none given. He drives his people to be the best, and expects them to be better.

Background: Mike enlisted in the Corps at the age of 17 (2391). He went through his boot camp at the old Parris Island facility and was graduated 5 weeks later. Training was seven days a week and for twenty hours a day to accomplish the feat. Only 2/3s of his class graduated from boot the others washed out.

His family was a long line of Marines, dating back to the 20th century. Every male in the family, with a few exceptions, did at least one tour in the Marines. Mikes father was a First Sergeant when his unit was killed off or assimilated by the Borg. His mother died not much long after she found out. Mike's brother, or at least the man who had been his brother, died by Mike's hand near the end of the war. He had been assimilated 5 years before and listed as MIA.
