Even though Nienna is Cardassian, Bajoran Mix she looks Cardassian, is of sturdy build, but the lines of her face are much softer due to her bajoran side. This included the typical nose ridge of the Bajoran race.

Nienna's parents are dead, she has no siblings. She was once chief operations officer of a former intelligence branch but the group was disbanded. She has since been adrift doing odd jobs, making money from her little trinkets that she crafted from things that she found or 'liberated' then moving on. She also has a great interest in sciences, at times some called her a wee bit eccentric or a crackpot. She has a favorite book that she had found, it was from the British Author Ian Fleming called Chitty Chitty Bang Bang. She has a collection of other books by that same author but the children's book she loved the best.

In someway, Nienna identifies herself with Caractucus Potts as she's been looked at strangely with the things she has worked on.Then again, there are others who were of the science mindset that were looked at strangely.

Nienna is innately curious has a sense of adventure and yet it can be claimed that there is some sort of balance.Her Bajoran side and Cardassian side at times go to war within her, but she deals with it. She can be found carrying a ball of modeling clay which she likes to make into different shapes. It keeps her hands in good shape and it also helps to ease stress.
