poQ is the current leader (joH ~ honored elder) of the House of cheng. He served for many years the House of cheng first as a simple servant and later as the right hand of cheng, son of Be'thal and his successor Ta'pez, son of cheng.

Although he is not of cheng blood he has kept a tight grip on the house and as the oldest among the pre-fall cheng klingons he commands considerable respect.

His service record is long and included everything from simple weHwI' to Ambassador. The immediate years before the fall of the Empire to the Borg were spent in the service of the House cheng as the Lord designate on the Khitomer Holdings of the house cheng, which included the then important Khitomer Fleet Yards which were owned and controled by the cheng through a majority stake.

He was among the Klingons that made the evacuation and was among the first klingons that organized the building of the Klingon Armored based at Sol as well the cheng Yards in Mars orbit.

poQ, now in his late 80s keeps mostly to the klingon station although every now an then as one of the Klingon representatives appears at gatherings were the voices of the aliens are welcomed. He is known to be friendly with many of the higher ups within Starfleet, Admiral Taylor is said to be friendly with the cheng joH.

His daughter Separ 'ech is the commandant of the KDF arm of the UFP forces. While his youngest son Taj'vI is serving the house on Mars.
