Samantha Jones

Samantha Jones, a bubbly vivatious blonde was assigned to Fleet Admiral Picard as his aide. The pair had been working together for over 4 years at the time of Picard's death.

She only ever referred to Picard as Admiral or Fleet Admiral Picard, unless she was flustered in which case she occasionally called him by his full name Jean-Luc Picard.

After Picards death Samantha stayed on to serve as aide to Fleet Admiral Taylor, although initially she didn't feel she could do the job for another man she eventually came around to the idea that staying was better for the fleet as a whole. While the Fleet Admiral was the figure head of the fleet, she was the unseen cog that kept everything moving.
