Under the command of Admiral Dan Taylor the commanding officer of the First Fleet, the crew of the USS Ronald Reagan monitor and secure the Sol system and its defence cordon.
The Reagan's first mission following extensive dry dock and refit time was to save the crew of the USS Tomar from a bio engineered bug designed to kill the Borg.
Following that mission Admiral Taylor found himself court martialed, after a break out is staged by the Reagan's crew they found themselves honour bound to return to duty following a terrorist attack on Starfleet Command.

The USS Ronald Reagan Play By Forum Role Playing Game was born out of the idea that Futility's End needed to firm up events within the Sol system. What originally started as a project to maintain a handful of well known NPC's for use within the fleet rapidly became a simm in its own right.
Taking the Futility's End version of my mainstream character I created Admiral Dan Taylor, one of Starfleet's most distinguished officers the man chosen to lead the First Fleet, the Earth Defence Force.
The simm only lasted 2 missions, however they were two eventful missions. Most of the Reagan's crew transferred to a new simm to continue playing.
