Just thinking, I've had one of my characters posted to the Essex in 2374 - when you say reactivated, when do you mean? The registry indicated it's clearly an early excel so did it serve for years, get beat up during the war and recently reactivated or was it reactivated for the BoS as the Constitution was? It's no bother either way - I can easily have the character serve on another vessel - just wondered. - Chris 09:06, 16 November 2005 (EST)

I shoulda expanded on it more.I was going for the whole it used to be the Uss Essex but got so old and beat up it was retired and replace dwith a nice shiney newer ship.Sooooooo SF needing a few good ships reactivated the old girl and pulled her outa some mothballs and shoved it up AC's ass as much good an old Excelsior class would be for defence in these dangerous days.-Cash

It fits thus.

Original Excellsior, lived for years and probably got decomissioned around TNG time. Was then recommissioned for the Dominion war (or was still active then), and was decomissioned post war then recommissioned for the Sol battle and put on AC after another decommissioning.

How does that read for you's? Old, used in the war but not in much heavy combat, mothballed then recomissioned. Chris 11:24, 17 November 2005 (EST)
