This Template converts mile/BTU into MPGeUS and L/100 km

It uses a factor of 115,000 for conversion.


Usage:

  • {{MPGe BTU|1/2560|lk=on}}: 5.2 L/100 km (45 MPGeUS)
  • {{MPGe BTU|1/2560}}: 5.2 L/100 km (45 MPGeUS)
  • {{MPGe BTU|1/2560|2}}: 5.24 L/100 km (44.9 MPGeUS)
  • {{MPGe BTU|1/2560|p=on}}: 5.2 L/100 p·km (45 p·MPGeUS)

Options:

  • The second parameter is decimal precision (default 1 decimal)
  • p=on adds p· for passenger miles
  • Make units wikilinked by attaching |lk=on.
    The manual of style suggests that you only link the first instance.
