The USS Red October (NCC-87895) was a Galaxy Class starship commanded by Captain Gregory Fernandez.

History

The Red October has served under Fernandez's' command in the first three major borg conflicts in the sol system. The Red October led a task force of ships out of the Fleet museum to join in the defense of utopia planetia.Red October was heavily damaged in the defence of the yard.She was towed to a stable orbital position above mars after the battle.Red October served as the first stable command post for the post war mars.In early 2400 she was towed back to utopia and was the first ship to undergo repair and refit.
