Despite loving her brother dearly, she has very little contact with him. This has been caused by Kurts withdrawl from society, something Jessica has a very hard time dealing with. On several occasions she has made valliant attempts to reach out to her brother, however each time she has tried all she has recieved is a cold shoulder.
