*shoots Ingram* There's nothing stopping Chris or anyone else in FE using the character, it's the same with any canon trek character in FE (to a certain degree). Ownership is more about how a character is developed by a particular FE player. I was the first one to use Paris in FE - he was simple going to be an admiral who gave out orders to us on DS1 and Enterprise-F. I didn't want to use (at the time) Picard because both Alex and Dan were using him in their sims. But then when others saw me using Paris they placed him in to a more "crucial" context at Starfleet Headquarters. Paris is heavily used on (if not all) the SRI sims. He's kinda like Admiral Forrest was to Captain Archer in Enterprise. [[User:MJ|MJ]]

The kitchen sink

To my knowledge (and I might be wrong on this), there's no such term as "second commander-in-chief," even in a theoretical sense. Lesser commanders are often referred to as the CINC of a particular area or department, for example CINCPAC (Pacific) or CINC CENTCOM (Central Command). So Paris might be CINCOPS or something, but I don't think second CINC is the best title for him. - Chris 12:16, 6 April 2006 (EDT)

Ownership

I know MJ may kill me for suggesting his beloved Tom be taken away from him, but was it ever considered that theChris should take (even partial maybe) ownership of the NPC considering that, y'know, Starfleet Command kind of revovles around him.
