One of yours? It's a little blurry on the right and the face is much better defined than the uniform, but I really like the lighting. Very atmospheric. =) - Chris 11:28, 17 November 2005 (EST)

Episode reference

Spent a bit of time adding SFC episode references to articles today and of course you do the same with enterprise eps. But for my part I quickly got tired of typing out the whole (SFC: "A Tale of Two Cities"). So for the next episode I do, I'm going to create a template to save a fair bit of time. Say it's called The Last Frontier, I might set up a template called TLF where the following is included:

(SFC: "The Last Frontier")

so all I have to add on the article is TLF to get (SFC: "The Last Frontier"). Given that you also add these references, such templates might save you a lot of time (and finger strain) as well as me. - Chris 14:29, 9 April 2006 (EDT)

The base for templates is what you might expect. Pick a name first. If it's "example" the wikilink would be Template:Example. So the web address would be

http://www.fe.bravofleet.com/infobase/index.php?title=Template:Example

Then, whatever you put on that template page will show up whenever you type example. The simplest one we have on FE is Template:Spoiler, and once you start to learn more advanced code, we have Template:delete which can be edited during use. More complex ones are of course Template:episode. On a related note, when ever you want to link to a template or category without using it like I've just done, type

:Template:Example

instead of

Template:Example

and the same for categories. The ":" tells the infobase not to use the template and just link to it instead. - Chris 16:18, 9 April 2006 (EDT)
