The Neptune Shuttle Race is a small crafts race held by [[Starfleet Academy]] every six months around a pre-determined path close to [[http://www.fehq.org.uk/infobase/index.php/Sol_System#Neptune|Neptune]]. Although it is held by Starfleet Academy you do not have to be a student to enter the race, but you must sponsor a currently attending student of the academy. The winner of the race, or the student who is sponsored, will recieve five full class credits to go towards their current semester at the Academy. The course is also different each year so the contestants only have a short amount of time to learn the course.
