The USS Exeter (NCC-1672) was a Constitution-class starship in service during the latter half of the 23rd century, commanded by Captain Ronald Tracey. In the Omega system the Exeter crew were infected by a bacteriological agent and were found dead onboard the vessel. Only Tracey survived due to his being located on Omega IV where the atmosphere provided a natural immunization for the disease.
