Benjamin Nash is a human male officer who currently commands the USS Nova and the holds the rank of captain in Starfleet.
Nash originally started his Starfleet career as a young cadet on board the USS Odyssey in early 2379 under the command of Luke Duncan. He quickly rose through the ranks and become quite a successful engineer. He remained on the Odyssey and continued to serve the vessel well before he departed to take up position as a engineer on the Nova Refit development project.
In 2393 he took command of the Nova serving as the commanding officer for over ten years. Before he assumed command of the vessel he married Commander Sam Moore the current CO of the USS Bozeman.
