In late 2399 it was decided to update the standard starfleet uniform.From the more military black and grey uniforms.To a throwback towards the uniform schemes of the 23rd century.While the resources needed for this are not as abundant as they once were.Replication services across the entire planet is being devoted to foodstuffs and mechanical parts. The initial delivery of uniforms are being staggered and placed in places of high visibility for starfleet as recomended by the public relations department.
