Jeffery Simpson is a freelance writer living in Vancouver British Columbia. He is finishing his degree in history at the University of British Columbia and has been watching Star Trek since he saw that Nazi episode of the original series in reruns so many years ago.

He has written for IGN.com, was a contributing editor of the nationally student owned agent magazine (the first and only student owned national magazine in Canada), and editor of the Phoenix student newspaper. He currently has his own blog as well he's the city captain of Metroblogging Vancouver.

He has been playing in Bravofleet for about four years now, and his first ship was the USS Laffey where he still plays Chief of Security Willilam Hume. He spent one year as the CO of the USS Exploration as well.

In FE his longest serving character is Commander T'Val a character he brought in from BF. T'Val has served on DS1 and is now the XO of the USS Enterprise (NX-1701-F). His character Vanessa Hume has just recently become the commanding officer of the USS Exeter.
