Being a lifer in the Marine Corp Justin has spent many years honing his skills to make himself of use to the Federation, before the creation of the Federation Mobile Infantry and the SABRE Corps he was accomplished in his feild a fact that made brought him to the attention of the newly formed SABRE Corps in 2403.

By december 2403 Justin had transfered from the Federation Mobile Infantry in to the SABRE Corps and after a short period of training had been asigned to the Qun mughwI' Project as a protection officer, protecting Captain Aaron Carter in the first instance and then later the projects target the holy grail. Sadly Justin's time aboard Qun mughwI' was cut short when Captain Carter left the project to pursue another item lost by the Federation, it was at this time he found himself hauled up in front of SABRE command to answer charges about his conduct whilst aboard SS Bounty. Whilst he was later cleared of all charges (As he had been following leagal if distasteful orders from his Command Officer) Justin found himself pulled from frontline duty and assigned to the SABRE training facility as an instructure where he stayed throughout 2404 and 2405 until the reports reached Sol of a loose Drone on Alpha Centuari.

Along with 7 other SABRE's Justin found himself shipped off planet following President Jellico's offer of Federation assistance in removing the Borg threat, an already over stretched SABRE corp was forced to coble together an extra team and ship them out to Alpha Centauri. As the senior NCO amongst the group Justin found himself in a very difficult position the team was under the command of a fairly in experianced First Lieutenant who felt he knew more than he did. Despite this their mission to Alpha Centauri was completed by late January 2406, every member of the team was thoroughly debriefed by Starfleet Special Investigations who were attempting to discover how a Drone had gotten on to a planet which had been under Federation Control until recently.

Following his debreifing Justin found himself in the SABRE Corps good graces once again, once again he was assigned a frontline team Hell Hounds.

Personal Life

During the war Justin was not a man to socialise too heavily with those around him, mainly due to the fact that many of them were dead within days of his meeting them they were invariably killed or assimilated. Although entirely capable of social interaction for many years Justin chose to avoid contact with others where possible, only making friendships where they were necessary to ensure his orders were carried out.

This outlook was forced to change when he was assigned to Earth on a more perminant basis following thw war, something Tancred had a very difficult time dealing with now he found himself dealing with the same people day in day out. His first few months on Sol were more than a little turbulant as he rubbed people up the wrong way only to find they were going now where.

One such person he got on the wrong side of was Lieutenant Commander Jessica Darkly who was stationed at the Academy temporarily whilst USS Akira was undergoing some minor refits, after a month of fighting between the pair they were forced to kiss and make up by the academy's dean. Kiss and make up may have been a figure of speech from the dean but that is exactly what the pair did after discovering they shared manyof the same tastes in art, history and food. Over the next few months their relationship blossomed and Jessica was able to pull Justin from his shell until he became more like his pre-war self, this cemented the pairs relationship much to the chagrin of Jessica's brother Kurt Darkly who wasn't best pleased his little sister was dating a glorified foot solider.
