Isoplasma Co-distribution Output Circuits or ICO Circuits are a set of power distribution systems designed for managing most plasma conduit distributions on a starship. Massive-draw systems like warp drive, shields, and phaser arrays use direct-feeds from the core, and do not go through ICO circuits.

ICO circuits also even out the power flow traveling to connected systems, and will burn out to protect the systems connected to it if necessary.

While it is possible for all systems to be routed through a single ICO circuit, for compartmentalization reasons, as well as redundancy in case of damage, most modern starships have multiple ICO systems.

A 21st-century comparison of an ICO circuit in the household is a power strip/surge protector.
