Overview (IC)

The year is 2406. The Borg War has decimated the galaxy, leaving the Alpha Quadrant in shambles. The Federation slowly rebuilds, seeking out survivors and learning its new place in the galaxy, all the while on guard against further Borg incursions.

This is not our concern. We operate on a larger theater, protecting something more important than Earth, more important than the Federation, more important than the galaxy itself. We protect history. So far as we know, we are the first, last, and only line of defense that the timeline has against those who would attack it, changing it to match their own visions rather than respecting choices already made.
