Aleksandrovna "Alex" Shkrebneva has led a varied career in and related to media. She has been a bureaucrat, political advisor, journalist and academic. She currently serves as an associate professor of journalism at Bond University in Australia.

From 2389 to 2399, she served as deputy press secretary and then press secretary in the offices of Federation Councillors Jawnd Neirbo and Nadroj Neirbo.
