Introduction

T'Prinn is the Chief Science Officer onboard Deep Space Five. Considered young by many to be manning an important base, she feels the need to prove herself constantly. With the departure of Vulcan from the Federation, she is under new stresses as she deals with where her loyalties might ultimately be.

Personal Info

Appearance

Short and slight of frame, T'Prinn is not an imposing figure. Having full control of her natural Vulcan grace, she has longer black hair usually pulled back behind her head. Her brown eyes are cool and logical. She cannot rely on her stature or looks to intimidate anyone, instead relying on her intelligence and quick thinking.

Personality

Cooly logical and calculating, her sharp intelligence hides the trouble of dealing with the withdrawal of her ancestral home from the Federation. Having lived on Mars most of her life, she has picked up many customs (like sarcasm) from her human friends, which is even more cutting when given in the even and cool tones of her Vulcan heritage.

She naturally keeps only a few close friends and very rarely mingles in large groups because of the feeling of a loss of control in such situations.

History

Early Life & The Borg War (2380 - 2398)

T'Prinn grew up on Mars with her father and mother, both scientists with Starfleet during The Borg War. They worked closely to try and better understand the Borg and ultimately were transferred off of Mars and to Earth during her human-equivalent adolescent years.

An only child, she followed closely in her parent's footsteps, quickly choosing science as her focus and attending private schools setup specifically to cultivate the next generation of premier scientists for rebuilding the Federation after the war would end.

Aftermath (2398 - Present)

T'Prinn enrolled in Starfleet Academy on the fast-track for a commission as a science officer on a front-line vessel. She graduated second in her class and was quickly assigned to the USS Potemkin. She served with distinction, if without any serious merit beyond doing exactly as she was told to do. After eight years on the Potemkin she was offered the Chief Science Officer position on Deep Space Five and gladly took it for a change of scenery.
