Justin Tancred a disgraced member of the SABREs, once assigned to SS Bounty he was removed after his heavy handed attempts at restraining several Vulcan's on Alpha Centauri's main starport when they attempted to impound the Bounty. After this he was shipped back to earth where he faced a court martial. At this court martial Tancred was stripped as his commission, the tribunal stopped short of kicking him out of the corp knowing at although his crime was bad, it did display his skill - a skill that the Federation would need.

Tancred's first assignment after the court martial was to train new SABRE's a job he discharged with good humour and even better success, as a reword for his hard work Tancred was offered a place in an active duty squad.

At this time he is awaiting word on his assignment.
