Mireia Vianae (aka the "Red Queen") was a passenger aboard of the S.S Starlight in the early 25th century, from 2405 onward in the aftermath of the Borg War.
The estranged wife to once Catherine Vincent DeMarceau, Vianae's past of often one of mystery and intrigue, at times even deeper than that of her wife.
History
Born to the leader of the Teladi Syndicate and a Orion slave girl she was born for the singular purpose of being her father's heir, granted she was supposed to be a boy, but the fact that she was female didn't seem to phase her father much. Though her mother was more greatly concerned about her daughter being used sexually. Somewhere along the way she earned the name the Red Queen, some say for her long red hair some say for other more sinister reasons.
After she and one Vincent DeMarceau spent the night together and her father found out it was demanded of DeMarceau that they wed, the Betazoid man having deluded himself into believing that DeMarceau was his daughter's first lover and that since DeMarceau had taken his daughter's honor there was no other option and gave the Terran the choice between a shotgun and a marriage, DeMarceau chose wisely.
Somewhat naive at the time of her marriage Vianae grew up over the next several years and by her twenty-fifth birthday the Syndicate was ready for her to take command, she for reasons unknown saw that this was not the best idea and fled hoping to lay low on a ship like the Starlight until she reached parts unknown.
Personality Profile
Demanding, vibrant, and still a touch naive, Vianae isn't afraid to use her wiles to get what she wants, but unlike most Orions she believes in monogamy and won't go any further than a little flirting or a kiss or two unless it is with her wife, who she sees as her destiny despite the fact they've been apart for several years. Her desire has always been to make a home with DeMarceau, and this desire remains despite the darkness that has worked its way into her due to whatever she's running from.
Notes
- Her nicknames for Vincent are either her "Dark Knight" or the shortening of her first name to "Cat".
- Her general preference is the use of her second name Vianae, with only Vincent being permitted the use of her first name.
