United Federation of Planets Secretary of the Interior

The United Federation of Planets Secretary of the Interior is a member of the United Federation of Planets Presidential Cabinet and leads the Federation Department of the Interior dealing with home and internal affairs. The Secretary of the Interior is the second highest ranking member of the Cabinet after the Secretary of the Exterior.

The current Secretary of the Interior is Doctor Abena Tau, who was appointed to the Cabinet by President Spock at the end of the Borg War. She was asked by President Stark to remain in the position upon his election, and agreed.
