Xon is one of the most senior commanders in the vulcan defence fleet.Originally a member of star fleet Xon served aboard the uss enterprise in the science department for 7 years.Eventually served a total of 27 years in starfleet untill then amabassador spock convinced Xon to join him in the diplomatic division.Xon was in spocks service one way or the other from more than 40 years even joining spock on romulus during the attempted reunification.Eventually returned home to vulcan and his wife and took up a command with the VDF shortly before the start of the borg wars.xon is only slightly younger than president spock and shares almost total opposite views with his one time mentor.
