Axanar is a class M planet bordering on to class K. It is just over twenty light years away from Tellar.

Status in 2400

Axanar took heavy damage from a Borg planetary bombardment it recieved. With help from the Tellarites the Axanar have been able to install a planetary shield grid to help in their defence. Starfleet is also preparing to send at task force of four ships to help in relief efforts and defence of the planet.
